The purpose of this consultation is to learn as much about you and record your fitness aims and objectives and as much information about you that will be used as a guide for monitoring your individual progress and improvements over time, following the fitness program blocks individually designed for you.
The following assessments will act as objective markers and will serve to as the base results monitoring your progress:
− A Body Composition Assessment composed of your: weight, body fat %, body water %, visceral fat rating, physique rating, estimated bone mass, muscle mass, metabolic age, basal metabolic rate, suggested daily calorific intake;
− A postural assessment;
− An assessment for joint range of movement and key muscle testing to identify any areas of tightness and/or weakness that require specific strengthening, mobility and flexibility exercises.
The results are analyzed and put into a personalized report for you to keep and reflect on for individual feedback. This will be assessed at regular times of your choice according to your aims and objectives.
Exercise plans, for 1:1 or small groups, are individually tailored according to the consultation to ensure you are working at your pace and towards achieving your fitness and lifestyle goals.
Sport massage therapy sessions are also recommended for a combined treatment of soft tissue work and myofascial release (MFR) to the key muscles and muscle energy techniques (MET) for increased flexibility of specific muscle groups.
